MSH Issues Global Service Challenge
To celebrate its 40th Anniversary, employees at Management Sciences for Health (MSH) and their partners will join together for a Global Service Challenge by reaching out to and volunteering in their communities. The goal is ambitious. Reach and serve 40 impact points throughout the world by September 30th.
Each day, more than 2,000 MSH employees in over 130 countries strive to improve the health and wellbeing of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. MSH President and CEO, Dr. Jonathan Quick, believes community service is core to MSH’s values. “As active members in our communities, MSH employees understand firsthand the positive impact that their work can have on children, families, communities, and nations," said Quick.
For four decades, MSH has been working shoulder to shoulder with their neighbors to develop locally driven solutions to public health problems. They understand the value of citizenry and community involvement and believe that service is a powerful tool to tackling local challenges. It brings dedicated citizens together for a common good. Whether playing ball with or reading to a child, painting a health clinic or building a school, planting a community garden or caring for injured animals, each and every volunteer hour can have a positive effect on our neighbors and neighborhoods.
The Global Service Challenge (40GSC) is an organization-wide community service project. Volunteers throughout the world are expected to participate. MSH’s encourages and welcomes its partners, donors, and colleagues to join the challenge.
