Since the breakup of the former Soviet Union, the Newly Independent States of Eurasia have faced challenges typical of independence—from deteriorated economies to rising rates of tuberculosis (TB) and HIV.

From improving access to TB medicines to strengthening health services for women and children, MSH programs in Eurasia are helping these emerging economies address their people’s most pressing health needs.
