A2Z is the primary vehicle for addressing global micronutrient deficiency in USAID’s Office of Health, Infectious Diseases, and Nutrition. Working through A2Z and with prime contractor the Academy for Educational Development, MSH helps to reduce micronutrient deficiencies and improve the nutritional and health status of infants, children, women, and families in developing and transitional countries.

Building on and expanding the existing work of USAID and others, the A2Z Project seeks to:
  • implement and strengthen micronutrient programs to improve the nutrition and health of vulnerable populations.
  • provide global technical leadership in micronutrients.
  • support organizations working to prevent child blindness.

AIDSTAR-Two

Project Date: 2008-2011

The AIDSTAR-Two Central Task Order Consortium, led by Management Sciences for Health (MSH), offers USG field missions proven strategies for magnifying the impact of HIV & AIDS programs. The Consortium brings the combined expertise, resources, and global infrastructure of seven organizations and the benefits of the lessons they have learned over many years. With the shared goal of improving the scope and impact of their HIV & AIDS programs, the Consortium is available to help USG field missions invest in networks and the capacity of local implementing partners, and to help country teams accelerate their own efforts to streamline interagency coordination and improve strategic planning.
